A pay figure can become outdated, a link can break, and a job posting can change after publication. Specific reports from readers help us investigate and correct those problems.
Report an error
Use the contact page. Please include the page or job URL, the wording you believe is wrong, and a source or explanation if you have one. Do not send a Social Security number, bank details, or other sensitive identity information.
What happens next
We review the information available, check the relevant source where possible, and update, clarify, or remove content when a correction is warranted. Some questions require confirmation from a public agency or the employer that posted the job. We cannot promise a fixed response time for every report.
Wage and employment data
Location wage cards identify their BLS data period and area. When a newer OEWS release is available, the older figures should be checked and replaced as appropriate. BLS estimates describe workers in an occupation, not today's job openings or a guaranteed offer. See how we use salary data.
Job listings
If a listing appears closed, misleading, or suspicious, send its URL and the specific issue. Listings are employer information and may change without notice; confirm pay, schedule, and other terms directly with the employer.
